2025 Susan Johnson Lake Champlain Opener Information
SPECIAL RULES:
* Anglers will need a valid NY fishing license AND a Vermont fishing license valid for June 15th 2024 if fishing in non-reciprocal waters.
* Eligible waters will be all New York and Vermont waters of Lake Champlain and any streams or rivers. No locking out and Canadian waters are also off-limit. Waters north of Missiquoi Bridge are out of bounds
Entry Deadline – June 4th, 2025 no late entries accepted
Event date: Sunday, June 15, 2025
Location: Lake Champlain
Launch site: Ticonderoga Boat Launch, Route 74, Ticonderoga, NY 12883
Re-registration: Saturday, June 14th, 2025
Ticonderoga Town Hall
All anglers are expected to re-register in person (consult tournament rules)
Re-registration will start at 3:00pm and will end at 5:00pm.

VERMONT LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT IF FISHING NON-RECIPROCAL WATERS IT
IS NEEDED. NON-BOATERS CAN PURCHASE AFTER THE DRAW ON LINE IF YOUR
BOATER SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO NON-RECIPROCAL WATERS AND THE LICENSE IS
NEEDED. DECISION WHERE TO FISH IS SOLELY UP TO THE BOATER.
